2024 May 28th Republican Primary Runoff Election Guide

Every two years, the Republican party holds a primary election to choose which candidate will represent the Republican party on the November ballot. If no candidate gets over 50%, a runoff is held. Only two contested races in Parker County head to a runoff this year; State Senator for Senate District 30 and US Representative for Congressional District 12.

The Parker County Conservatives PAC Board appoints a vetting committee with the sole task to vet candidates who are in a contested election appearing on a Parker County ballot. The 2024 vetting committee consists of six members. All members of the vetting committee are asked to put aside personal relationships and vet candidates based on factual and verifiable information and recommend candidates to the PAC Board. The vetting committee strives to find the most conservative and most qualified candidate in each race, which can sometimes be a hard choice. They have spent time researching candidates, and these are the candidates they are recommending in the May 28 primary runoff.

As always, we encourage you to do your own research. We are NOT telling you how to vote. We are simply providing these recommendations as a guide to help you make an informed decision if you don’t have the time to do the research yourself. Links to additional resources are provided on the bottom of this page.
