Vetting Process

The Parker County Conservatives PAC Board appoints a vetting committee with the sole task to vet candidates who are in a contested election appearing on a Parker County Ballot.

The 2025 May 3 vetting committee consists of eight members. All members of the vetting committee were asked to put aside personal relationships and vet candidates based on factual and verifiable information and recommend candidates to the PAC Board. The vetting committee strives to find the most conservative and most qualified candidate in each race, which can sometimes be a hard choice.

The vetting committee used email, telephone calls and texts as methods to contact each candidate involved in a contested race to invite them to a panel interview. Not all candidates responded to the invitation. Some were unable to accommodate a panel interview but participated in telephone questionnaires. The vetting committee has spent time researching as many candidates as possible and made recommendations in several of these races. However, the vetting committee did not have enough information to recommend a candidate in every race.

Recommended Candidates

The vetting committee has spent time researching as many candidates as possible and made recommendations in several of these races. However, the vetting committee did not have enough information to recommend a candidate in every race.

A recommendation is NOT the same as an endorsement. Sometimes there is a choice between candidates in which neither candidate is conservative but may only reflect the “best” choice.

Here are the recommendations from the eight-member May 3 local election vetting committee:

As always, we encourage you to do your own research. We are NOT telling you how to vote. We are simply providing these recommendations from the vetting committee as a guide to help you make an informed decision if you don’t have the time to do the research yourself.
