Vetting Process

The Republican primary is held among friends and is the time for conservatives to help the most conservative candidate be elected. Parker County Conservatives appreciate all candidates who make the sacrifice to be part of this process.

The Parker County Conservatives PAC Board appoints a vetting committee with the sole task to vet candidates who are in a contested election appearing on a Parker County Republican Ballot.

The vetting committee researches each candidate and strives to find the most conservative and qualified candidate in each race, which can sometimes be a hard choice. Sometimes all candidates are good conservative choices, but sometimes there is a choice between candidates in which neither candidate is conservative but may only reflect the “best” choice. All members of the vetting committee are asked to put aside personal relationships and vet candidates based on factual and verifiable information and recommend candidates to the PAC Board.

The 2026 vetting committee consists of six members. An endorsement requires a unanimous vote among the vetting committee but a unanimous vote does NOT automatically mean an endorsement. The number of votes are shown in parenthesis for each candidate if there is not a unanimous decision.
