Maria Espinoza

Maria is well-known for her work of nearly 13 years with her organization, which gained national recognition when Donald Trump embraced and recognized The Remembrance Project (“TRP”). TRP was created to serve as a voice for the victims who were killed by illegal aliens. She created the Stolen Lives Quilt banners, a visual memorial that honors and remembers our fellow-Americans. By popular demand from other Americans of Latin American heritage, Maria created America First Latinos initiative in early 2015. Maria introduced the angel moms, dads, and angel families to Donald Trump in 2015 and is a Trump Surrogate.

Maria is nationally recognized as the foremost expert on the impacts and the high cost in human lives caused by open borders, non-enforcement of laws, ignoring our State and U.S. Constitutions, and the Bill of Rights. Well familiar with the results of lawlessness and killings, she joined President Trump in defending Texas against the leftists by filing an Amicus Brief in the lawsuit over Texas’ Senate Bill 4, which would help keep our communities safe. In 2015, TRP met with and challenged the Obama Administration’s unconstitutional amnesty. She, once again, supported her home state of Texas by filing another Amicus Brief in the Texas and the 25-state lawsuit.

On January 25, 2017, she stood alongside President Trump at the White House signing of the Executive Orders on Border Security where he handed Maria the pens with which he signed the EOs to also create the office of Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement” (VOICE) in fulfillment of a promise to Maria to more directly assist families of the victims. A White Paper for the creation of a victims’ office was submitted to the transition team in 2016 by TRP.

In 2020, President Trump officially proclaimed November 1st as the “National Day of Remembrance for Americans Killed by Illegal Aliens” as requested by her organization. Maria testified before the Texas Legislature and before the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chaired by Congressman Ron DeSantis on the matter of National Security. She is the first female and first Hispanic who took on the establishment to run for U.S. Congress in CD-7 (2016, 2020), George H. Bush’s former congressional seat. Maria was a nominee for the Department of Justice 2019 Crime Victim Award and the Ronald Reagan Public Policy Award. She received the 2020 Grassroots America Champions of Freedom Award. Maria is the only female in the country named in an article titled: “Meet the 15 Immigration Hawks Defining Trump’s Agenda”; sharing the honor with Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, Jeff Sessions, Gov Abbott, AG Paxton & others.

In addition to speaking across the country, Maria has interviewed with Newsmax – Chris Salcedo Show, Fox & Friends, NRA-TV Grant Stinchfield on NRA-TV, Christian Broadcasting Network, DOVE-TV, Hagee Network, Neil Cavuto, Lou Dobbs, and Tucker Carlson on Latino support for Donald Trump, and has given hundreds of radio interviews.

She met with the Obama Administration’s Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, and Deputy Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas regarding national security.

Under the Trump Administration, Maria met with Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Jon Adler, Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance with Dept. of Justice; and the Office of VOICE which was created by President Trump as a promise to Maria and TRP to do more for victims’ families of illegal alien killings. Maria and TRP teamed up with Judicial Watch to meet with Cliff Seagroves, Acting Director, U.S. Dept. of State Office of Foreign Missions and the Liaison for Mexico.

With Trump’s Transition Team, TRP was the only organization invited to meet with the Directors of every Law Enforcement Agency in the country. TRP attended President Trump’s by-invitation- only Law Enforcement Summit. Maria was selected to attend President Trump’s Conversation with (the top 200) Businesswomen of America, and the Latina’s Summit -Washington, DC.

Maria represented Texas as a Statewide Alternate Delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention, and as a delegate to Republican State Conventions. She has been a Poll Watcher and an alternate Election Judge. She also spearheaded the creation of The Remembrance Project Action a 501c4 organization that may endorse America First candidates. She also started her own show “The All-American Project with Maria Espinoza.” The name of her show was inspired by her All-American Miler status.

A native Texan, Maria was a nationally ranked athlete who was named Most Valuable Player and the Outstanding Distance Runner in Track & Field for Abilene Christian University. She earned the coveted “All American Miler” status. The show can be found on Rumble.

After living and working in Washington, D.C., for two (2) years following Donald Trump’s election as the President of the United States of America, she and her husband Tim Lyng a Professional Engineer returned home to fight for Texas. Maria and Tim thank God for their calling to help save our “one nation under God” and invite you to join the mission.
