Please join us on Tuesday, January 17 as we welcome Jill Glover, SREC Legislative Priorities Committee Chair for the Republican Party of Texas to discuss the top eight legislative priorities of the Republican Party of Texas and what we can do to help get them passed. Jill will also give a recap of what happens in Austin as the 88th Legislative Session kicks off with two important votes – selecting the Speaker of the Texas House as well as an amendment to the rules that will ban the practice of granting committee chairmanships to Democrats.

Jill is the State Republican Executive Committeewoman for SD 12 and chair of the SREC Legislative Priorities Committee.  She authors the Republican Party of Texas email, the Legislative Priorities Report, and speaks around the state to clubs and organizations on RPT Legislative Priorities. She also tours with Grassroots of America, “Conservative Mamas,” speaking on the targeting of our children by the culture and educational system. She served on the 2020 state Republican Platform Committee, is a precinct chair and election judge, serves as a board member of the Flower Mound Area Republican Club and served as the chair of the Denton County Conservative Coalition vetting committee.

Jill has a master’s degree in Psychology, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and has testified on a variety of bills before our state legislature. She has taught college level psychology and sociology, and worked in both in-patient and out-patient mental health settings.

She is particularly interested in protecting our liberties, protecting children, and preserving our Judeo-Christian principles in the Republican Party.
