Former Congressman Steve King
Former Congressman Steve King represented the 4th District of Iowa in the U.S. Congress from 2003-2021. His political career began in 1996 when he defeated a RINO Republican for an Iowa State Senate seat. In 2002, King prevailed over his well-funded opponents to begin his 18-year run in Congress. He won three elections in a row without spending a dime on advertising. Congressman King used his 4th District of Iowa seat to keep his promise to “move the political center to the right.” He charged into every important battle on every hot button issue. King made the call for the border wall long before Trump and built a model wall on the floor of Congress as early as 2006. He led a furious fight against ObamaCare longer and harder than any other Congressman. In 2015, King teamed up with a handful of colleagues to force Speaker John Boehner out as Speaker of the US House.
